Babies try to focus their eyes at something and in the process get cross-eyed. If, however, he continues to show signs of being cross-eyed, better see a pediatrician. And about his head tilting to one side, it's because he wants to hold his head up but his neck cannot yet support his head. You should put your hand behind his head to give support.

You should bring this concern to the doctors attention on your babies next well baby check up. The nurse above could be right but how would she really know unless she has given your baby physical examination. A diagnosis shouldn't be taken seriously over the internet.

my best friends baby was having this problem and her pediatrician referred her to an eye doctor that will work with very small children/babies. Most likely the muscle in the eye or eyes that turn in is weak and there are things they can do to help with this! Talk to your daughters doctor and he/she should be able to help!

my little brother did that around her age. he quit doing it as he got older though. my son also did that a little, but not anymore. at 6 mos shes too young for an eye exam, but you could ask your pediatrician about it next time you're there. i wouldn't worry about it too much though.

this is normal and can happen until the child is 2years
