Here is the def. from my medical dictionary: A benign bluish-black macule, between 2 and 8 cm, occurring over the sacrum and on the buttocks of SOME NEWBORNS. IT IS ESPECIALLY COMMON IN AFRICAN_AMERICANS,NATIVE AMERICANS,SOUTHERN EUROPEANS,AND ASIAN-AMERICANS ANS USUALLY DISAPPEARS DURING EARLY CHILDHOOD. To answer your question i would have to say no.

Mongolian spots have nothing to do with biraciality. It is a hereditary trait. It is more prevalent in some groups than others (90% in Asians, 80% in East Africans, 46% in Hispanics, and 1-9% in Whites). In most children born with it, it spontaneously disappears within four years of birth, but it can persist for life in some people.

No, I have two biracial children and neither have any mongolian spots and never have. My children are mixed with black and white and both have very even skin tones with no discolorations or markings.

Mongolian spots are typically found in Hispanic or Indgenous American Indians. Are also known to occur in Blacks and Asians. Usually people with natural brown skin pigmentation.

I am white and my baby's dad is Native American and our son has mongolian spots, one of my nieces who is also half native had them too but my other two nieces by (by the same mom) had a Mexican father and they didn't, I think it just depends!

it depends on the mix of races. I was caring for a little girl that was part caucasion and part Puerto rican and it looked like she had bruises. her family forwarned me before I flipped out . :)

having light skin will not stop that.
