I've delivered 5 children. 3 boys and 2 girls. My water always broke during labor, except twice. The doctor was inducing me and he broke my water once. The other time I was at work. I worked in a nursing home and I helped lift a huge woman off the toilet. I left a few hours later and I started leaking water. I went and grabbed a bath towel and stuck it between my legs. I then called my work and talked to the nurse on duty. I told her I had a doctors appointment in the am. She said I'd be alright til then. The doctor put me in the hospital just in case I wasn't leaking pee. Within 24 hours of lifting that woman I gave birth to a premature 4 pound baby boy. He was 6 weeks early. I think it won't happen to you at the store. Usually the contractions break it. Congratulations. I hope your baby is perfect in every way.

No breaking the bag of water doesn't hurt, but the contractions and giving birth to hurt. Every woman is different. We experience labor pain at different times. Sometimes you can lay in bed, and your will break.

I have a son what was born premature. Early labor started around 27 weeks for me. I had a horrible back aches. I went into labor with him on 6/2/03 around 9 p.m., and I had him on 6/4/03 at 9:39 p.m. I labored with no narcotics. I wanted to have a natural delivery, but I was so tired. The anesthesiologist was called in 36 minutes before my son was born. I did get an epidural, and it relaxed my muscles enough so that I could push him out. I still felt all of the burning, and most of the contractions. My son was born at 33 weeks & 5 days. He weighed 5 lbs & 4 oz, and he was 17 3/4 inches long. Now he's a bright and healthy 9 year old.

Not at all. It actually felt funny to me. Like a huge water balloon popped inside me. I was induced so the doctor broke my water.

And having been induced, I can honestly say I'm surprised you want to be induced. My labor went by VERY quickly and my contractions were constant. I didn't even have a break in between them. I would have much rather have had a natural labor and delivery.

Why should you be embarrassed about your water breaking in the store? I highly doubt people will think you peed yourself since you have a baby belly...they'd probably think your water broke!

The painful contractions won't start immediately. That's not until hard labor, when you're dilating more.

No, it does no longer harm however your water won't holiday till you're within the supply room. You consistently suppose such as you need to move to the toilet when you consider that of all of the strain at the bladder. a few females simply get a leak from a small tear. Your surgeon will experiment any fluid your subsequent surgeon talk over with..simply ensure you inform him you believe you maybe leaking.
