Hi! I was wondering if a baby's gums turn hard right before their teeth come in? My daughter is 6 months old and she has had bumps in her gums for about a month now. This past week, the bumps weent down and her gums are hard. I can feel what I think is an edge of the tooth under her gums. They are also really white. What do you all think? Did anything similar like this happen to any of your babies right before their first tooth broke through?

My baby is also 6months and his gums have felt hard for the past month and they also look white. But don't worry, her teeth are coming, that's the process
