The one I like the most is Medela Pump in Style Advanced.

I was renting the Medela Lactina electric pump until about a month ago when I got a Medela Harmony manual and I like it better than the electric. The electric did the job but I found it to be a bit uncomfortable not being in control of the suctioning. I like that I can go fast or slow, at my own pace with the manual.

Unless you're going to a hospital grade pump, the Medela Pump in Style or the Ameda Purely Yours

its great that ur deciding to breast feed, i had a baby 6 mths ago and stil breast feeding. She was my first. Defo the best pump has to be the medela, i bought the double pump (one for each breast) and it is electric. It was the best investment ever, cost me 230 pound but worth every penny. i returned to work when the baby was 11 wks and the pump let me continue to breast feed her with ease. it expresses the milk very quickly with ease. If your looking for somethin cheaper, the advent manual pump (£24) is brilliant. I had used it for the first 11 wks and it was the easiest and best manual pump ( i had tried other manual pumps with no joy)

I'm borrowing a Medela pump in style and I love it!

I don't use it very often so I'm glad I never bought one, but it's great because it pumps both sides at once!

I would suggest getting on a website that sells breast pumps and comparing. Also looking at customer reviews. That is what I plan to do when I get pregnant again :)

For me, it was the Medela breast pump...a lot of moms I know have said the same. Best of luck.

Also I have read that fenugreek and i think milk thistle help you produce more milk as well. I havent tried it myself but stumbled upon it when I was looking into the herbs for other reasons.
