4 month old baby feeding problem?

hello everyone.i'm a new mother of 4 month old daughter.my doc said that my baby r not gaining enough weight.i'm really worried for this.let me share from very first.
1.her birth weight was 2.6kg(5.7lbs).her weight increased to 3.4kg(7.5lbs) at her 1month 7 days.my doc told me that a baby should gain 30 grams per day where as DD gaining 26 grams/day.so he suggested me to start formula.he feels that my breastmilk is not enough for her but that time both of breast were always full and my innerwear becomes wet couple of times in a day.
2. but we went with docs suggestion.DD had difficulties for some days with vomiting and sucking nipples and she used to be tired after her feeding.but gradually she became fine with her formula fedding.she took about 3 to 4 oz per feeding and 3 to 4 times a day plus breast fed.since she was taking formula,my breast milk decreases.
3. 'despite of taking formula,at her 3 month check up,she weighted only 4.6kg(10.1lbs) means that she put only 1.2kgs(2.6lbs) in two months.and at the same time, she suddenly stop taking formula.we tried different kind of teats, change formula but nothing worked.she cries a lot if i try to feed bottle.since 2 or 3 days,i am able to feed bottle but only 1 or 2 oz a day.but after that its really hard.
4. so last 1 month she is almost breastfed.but her growth rate still very low.she is still under 5 kg(11 lbs).i try to feed her formula at least once a day but since she only take 1--2oz,i've to breastfed at same time.
but for some reason,i am not sure that she is getting enough or not....like
a.my breast are not full like earlier.she takes time to complete and become sleepy before complete her feed.
b.her pooping became irregular, sometimes once a week.though her poop is soft when she does.
her pees is ok.
c..her slow growth rate.
so,should i continue to try to feed her formula or stop formula and wait untill 6 months?

and another question is,since i feed formula once/ day, first i feed formula and then breastmilk untill she is full.but someone told me that it decreases nutrition of breastmilk and i should first feed Bmilk and then formula, but i donot think my baby will take formula after breastfed.she doesnot want to dislatch from breast untill she becomes full or fall tosleep.

can't decide what would be better for my DD.plz help me.waiting for ur suggestion.

Your milk IS enough! I bet your doctor isn't even using the breastfeeding growth chart. Breastfeeding is a supply and demand relationship, the less you breastfeed the more you will have to use formula. Doctors here in the USA push formula so hard here that it's sickening, and this is just my theory, but I think they do it on purpose because formula doesn't have all the amazing health benefits and they only get paid when you need to see them.

I don't think you're American because you are using the metric system, but I am pretty sure that you can contact the La Leche League for breastfeeding support. In my motherly opinion, it sounds like your baby is growing just fine. Good luck to you, mama

If ur baby needs to gain weight add a little baby cereal to the bottle. She is old enough to have it. I started both my bahies on cereal at 3 months. They loved it and it filled them up. My youngest son is 3 1/2 months and it 15.6 pounds. He is in the 98 percent for weight.

Breast fed babies gain less weight in the first few months. Have you sought out a 2nd opinion on your ll one's care with another doctor who is very familiar with growth rates of breast fed babies?

What percentile is she in on the growth chart?

How big are you and your husband?

Is your doctor investigating for a cause?

To me it sounds like formula is not working to help baby put on weight.

How many times does baby wake in the night for feeds? Maybe you could add in an extra night feed?

Once a week pooping is fine for a breastfed baby.
