I am actually in dental school right now and this a a normal concern for most people. Your child is just fine. It can take anywhere from 6 - 10 months for kids teeth to erupt. if you are really concerned you can always ask your dentist for an x-ray to see if their teeth are coming along as they should. But I am sure they are on their way. No need for alarm.

This might not be completely true,...but I have heard that kids whose teeth come in faster will be in worse shape and the slower they come in the healthier they will be. My daughter had all of her teeth before she was one, and had lots of cavaties by the age of 3, but my son didn't get his until he was about one, he is only 19 mths. now so i'm not sure if is are considered in better shape. My friend had a baby that didn't get her first tooth until she was over the age of one so it is normal. Her daughter is 13 n has pretty healthy teeth!

No biggie. My girl didn't at 9 months. At 19 months, she is now a crocodile. She was on the breast until 13 months, and her mother was quite happy that her first teeth waited until about 10-11 months.

Babies cut teeth in their own time. My second child got his first tooth at 10 months and my fourth didn't cut her first tooth until 13 months. Don't worry, the teeth will come.

It's fine, My kids didn't get their's till they were about 12 months old.
Some people think that the longer the teeth take to cut through, the stronger they will be.
Don't stress!!

It's perfectly normal. My daughter didn't get her first tooth till she was 11 months, and now that she's 3 she has a beautiful smile :) It's not the norm for kids, but it isn't a bad thing.

It is not a problem, some kids get there teeth later than others. My son got his first tooth at one year. BTW... he is seven and has not lost a tooth yet, so in six years that saves you from asking that question :)

Dont worry. My 10 month old baby doesnt have them either. I consulted some best doctors, and they told me it's nothing to worry about - some have it early, some have it late.
They also asked me a question that convinced me: Have you ever seen a baby that doesnt have teeth? :)
Relax, and let time take it's time.

Maybe your baby is just a late bloomer...my nephew is 8 months and he has 2 little teeth, he's growing up really fast though, he wear clothes that are for babies older than him.

ithink it all depends on the baby. if he's toothless by the time he's one, then you can panick. but kids do things just to make us crazy. both my girls got their first teeth when they were around 4 months old. but when they got to their 3rd set, it slowed down. don't worry just yet, but you are a good parent to be concerned.

normal is what your child does - is this your first and only ? As long as the child is healthy and gets enough vitamins and love - he or she will grow just fine
