My son will be one in 10 days. I'm just looking to see what you are feeding your one year olds. Right now we are just starting with solid foods. We have been on stage three baby foods for a little while now. I just want to be sure he is getting enough nutrients while trying new foods. Thank you.

I found stage 3 foods were not that different from stage 2 (and a waste of money!), so our son (a year on Thursday) has been eating everything that we eat. I just make extra each night to then give him the next day. Of course, I cut things up small in order to avoid choking, but he loves "real people" food with a bit more flavor! It's so much easier than using baby food, and he seems to love it a lot more! If you're worried about him not getting enough nutrients, introduce the "new" food as a side and then allow him to fill up on the things you know he likes! Eventually, he'll be eating everything! :-)

Unless it's too spicy or will give him bad gas, my son eats just about everything my husband and I eat. He also eats yogurt, tons of fruits, baby cheerios and many other things for snacks. He likes scrambled egg with cheddar cheese melted in it and he LOVES toast!

If you are worried about him getting enough nutrients, talk to your doctor about putting him on a multi-vitamin for babies. I put my son on one. Whatever kind you get is fine, just make sure it has Vitamin D in it.

Pretty much whatever we are eating. Her favorites are Cream fruit oatmeal, bananas, diced carrots (cooked), diced fruit, grilled cheese, lunchmeat cubes, the gerber graduate pasta pickups, grapes (quartered), and yogurt.

She wouldn't have anything to do with the stage 3 babyfood. she would spit it out.

Everything! (well, almost)

She loves pieces of chicken, steak, veggies, tofu, cheese, fruit, cereal bars (her fav), edamame, bananas, oatmeal, pasta, onions (raw - in a ring -- she LOVES them!?!). She is a hearty eater!
