I'm guessing that breast feeding is the main cause because it takes a lot of nutrients from the body and thankfully my daughter is as strong as an ox and I will be weaning her on to cows milk soon.
Yippee I should think, but I'm actually really worried now.
I'm busy with the little one as you can understand, I eat a normal amount but sometimes have something about 4pm or wait for BF to finish work which can be really late some nights so I don't cook and have something simple once he gets back.
I would go to the doctor but I'm scared that he might do tests and find something more serious!
8stone is my healthy feel good weight. Right now I'm 7.7stone and that's after a big sunday dinner cooked by MIL!
That's enough rambling.
I know us mums are busy with little ones so I'm putting this in N&B in hope that someone can relate and tell me it's nothing to worry about!
symptoms today - not much energy, dizzy at times and have had the shakes. Not good.

Get youself along to the doctor at least that way he can put an end to your worrying. You may anemic, hence the lack of energy and dizziness. Also, I don't know your height but 7 stone 7 is very light.

I am sure you know this already but it is still vitally important that you continue with a healthy balanced diet after having your baby as you did whilst pregnant. More so now as you are breast feeding but your body is also trying to replace the nutrient stores lost during pregnancy (which takes at least a year). Some breast feeding mum's need to take in more calories than the standard 2000 per day for the average woman.

I completely understand that you are very busy with baby but you wouldn't not make a meal for your baby so you should look after yoursef in the same way too. Also, it's not always great cooking for one either when a partner works late. I would suggest getting him to help you out too - either by doing some cooking or looking after your little one so that you can cook up three or four different meals in big batches which can be frozen. That way you will know that you are getting healthy, nutritious food even if you have to eat on the run or alone when you don't have much time.

It is very normal to worry that things are more serious particularly when you have a baby but it's more than likely something very simple. And not saying this to scare you but if it was a little more serious then it is best for your baby for you to find out sooner rather than later and get the right treatment so you are back to your energetic, healthy, happy self as quickly as possible.

Good luck!

You mean the weight loss after having a baby is real?! The only weight I lost was the baby and the water. I still weigh almost as much as I did when I was pregnant and he's 14 months!

I would still go to the doctor and see what they have to say. If there is something wrong, don't you want them to fix it so you can be around longer for your baby? I'm not sure what a "stone" weighs, but if you're not happy with it, you should really talk to your Doc.

Also, if you're breast feeding you're supposed to take in a lot more calories than you would on a "normal diet". You might be starving yourself with out knowing it.

Good luck~

That's exactly how I felt... I gave birth 4 weeks ago and in 2 weeks after birth I have lost all my baby weight which was 3 stones, that was shocking to me, but weeks are passing by, I have started taking iron tablets and other vitamins, got into routine with the baby and I can say that I am feeling better. See your doctor and have your blood checked, don't worry too much

I trust all people who say walk - it is been the perfect difficulty for me! I had 2 toddlers close mutually (they're now 13 months and 25 months previous) and so on no account had a ruin in between to lose any weight. i became too drained to do something in the previous each and every thing so waited till my youngest became approximately 5 months previous. i offered a twin stroller with 3 wheels that are appropriate for heavy strolling and walking and stale I went! It became no longer basic in the previous each and every thing as I had exchange into somewhat super after 2 babies and as a result no longer worth yet now, 8 months later, have shed various the load and walk for over an hour each and every day (a no longer basic walk too, detect a direction it rather is troublesome and build as much as a greater good walk as you get greater fit). I do pass to a well-being center some cases a week for some resistance education with weights to tone up, yet you do no longer would desire to do this - abdomen crunches or artwork with small hand held weights are super. unquestionably wait till you have recovered from the start somewhat and then artwork on it. it is going to take time to lose infant weight however the inducement to get out of maternity clothing became adequate for me. My boys are initiating to get huge and the eldest tries to get out of the pram now so I won't have the means to do it perpetually so while they're babies is the suited time to do it. sturdy success!
