Christening theme for invites and decor?

If you were opting for a theme for a christening, what would be a good theme for the christening invitations, as well as the christening party post ceremony.

Usually, you'll find people going for soft or toned down themes, soft pastels, whites and such, but nowadays, you can use colourful themes and designs, bright pinks, blues, little animals, biblical references or animals mentioned in the bible, birds such as doves and birdcages,

I like the idea of biblical references, and animals from the bible, and even birds and doves (the essence of innocence)
