I am currently 19weeks pregnant. And i have the smallest bump. I am getting quite worried that something is wrong. Saw my friend yesterday and she said i dont even look pregnant? My midwife says its fine but i am really panicking.
I have my scan next Friday to check everythings ok and to tell if its a boy/girl. Cant wait.
Am i just being silly?
I have felt the baby move, well i think i have!
Thank you!
xx

I was HUGE from 14 weeks and am probably one of the women you compare your bump against. I longed for a bump until i got mine all of a sudden and then it really bugged me because it is surprisingly restricting and uncomfortable. dont wish your figure away, the smaller your bump the less correcting your body has to do later, my daughter is 5 months old and i still look 20 weeks pregnant.
My friend on the other hand stayed a normal size 10 right up until she had her little girl. barely changed shape and she gave birth to a healthy 6lb baby girl 7 weeks early.
My bump was mainly water and in all honesty when your baby is born you'll wonder what all the big bump was for, they look so tiny, even compared to what you think of as a tiny baby.
Good luck anyway, and remember giving birth is one of the most wonderful things you will do in your life and you are likey to do it less than 5 times in your whole life, savour every moment, i dont necessarily mean go all natural and dont use any pain relief, heck i had morphine when i had my little girl and still rememeber every little detail of her birth. plus as soon as your baby is born you get this surreal feeling, all the drugs leave your system and you immediately feel sober like you can take on the world.

I didn't show wearing clothes until about 6 months :0) I have a healthy little boy now, the doctor will tell you if everything is ok, don't listen to how other people think you should look, every ones body is different and they are not doctors.
Congrats and good luck finding out the sex :0) When you start showing people will try to tell you that too lol...

Hi
This is totally normal. With my first i didnt have hardly any bump until around 6 months. Also i didnt really feel anything until about 23 weeks and even then it was very slight ripples.
With my second however i am massive. The midwife said that with my first my stomach muscles were a lot stronger and so i didnt stretch out easily. With my second the muscles were a lot weaker and so stretched out easily.
Dont worry. Your scan will put your mind at ease.

HAHA :) i didnt even show until like 28 weeks- some women are built better for pregnancy and that is good- it means you have wider hips and the baby sits in there comfortably- no worries- i only looked a little pregnant at my baby shower and i was already 35 weeks-

It's perfectly normal! I am currently 30 weeks, and up until about 3 weeks ago you couldn't really tell I was pregnant either. I have been for my scan and the baby is growing right where he should be. Different people carry in diff. ways, don't panic! You'll be fine and so will your precious baby.

You lucky thing!
It's nothing to worry about, if the scans show the baby is healthy it's fine!
When my cousin was pregnant she only went up 1 dress size and lost the weight within 6 weeks. It does happen to those lucky few with good genetics!

I didn't even start to show really till I was 27 weeks pregnant so no there isn't anything to worry about. Good luck on finding out if its a boy or girl that will be exciting.

Completely silly ! I didn't show until close to 7 months ! By full term, it looked like I was only a couple of months pregnant and my baby came out just great !
Now, with no 2 (16 wks), I look like I did full term with no 1 !!! It's awful and I'm worried I'm going to be HUGE when this one is full term !

Aww, I'm guessing this is your first baby....if so, your muscles are all still nice and tight so most women don't show for ages...I seemed to come on overnight at around 33 weeks...my mum stayed in the same size jeans until 8 months pregnant...every woman is different. try not to worry and enjoy being pregnant! x

if its your first baby you dont usually show until a bit later on, it also depends on your body as everyone is differently. i got a tiny bump at around your stage but didnt start showing until early 20 weeks and it still wasnt too obvious of my pregnancy until shortly after that. im 34 weeks tomorrow and my bump is still quite small, but i am short and small framed so i put it down to that. if your midwife says everything is fine then dont worry, im glad i didnt start showing until later. its normal to be concerned but im sure everything is fine. good luck.

You're totally normal. Nobody even knew I was pregnant until I was in my 7th month. I only gained 25lbs and my baby girl was 8lbs 10oz.

don't worry, that's normal. I remember seeign Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Gardner at 4 months and you couldn't tell they were pregnant
