I was invited to a baby shower and given a page for the baby book to write on and bring to the shower, I have no ideas on what to do for my page and how to design it. I need suggestions for baby book page, since the baby is not born yet don't have any ideas what to create for a baby book page.

thats weird? never heard of that..... is it about the baby shower or FOR the baby when its born? im confused.. if its about the shower than decorate it pink or blue whatever the sex and get stickers and stencils at a hobby shop and just make it about a baby i guess and leave a spot for a picture wether its for a baby or a pic of the baby shower! good luck

The baby shower is before the baby is born? Is it a large page or a small page?

I would decorate it in a neutral color (ultrasounds can be wrong), and maybe write about how you know the mother and how you can't wait to see the baby. Also, write a piece of advice or two to the mother (not pushy advice.... more like the advice people give to a bride at a bridal shower but tailored to a baby shower). If you are bringing a present, you could take a picture of it and journal about why you bought it - that way when the baby is older he/she can look back and see what everyone gave him/her. OR you could maybe ask the people throwing the shower for more guidelines on what they are wanting you to do. =)

Good luck....

Maybe pick out a book that somehow reminds you of the mom or dad. For example: My sister gave my daughter "Where The Wild Things Are" and then wrote inside the book a note telling about how SHE was in the play when she was in 2nd grade....and how I ran up on stage yelling for the other "wild things" to let go of my sister. I loved that....and look forward to my daughter understanding that story. Just make it personal. However, books are expensive....and board books are more enjoyable by younger children and the parents don't have to worry about a really nice book getting chewed on by a teething toddler. So you may want to just get something fun like the Sandra Boynton books (But Not The Hippopotamus, The Going To Bed Book, etc.) and just write a cute note to the new baby inside the front cover "I hope you have many wonderful bedtimes and a lifetime of sweet dreams". Just speak from the heart.....

You are bringing this as a guest?

I would just decorate with things about the mommy. Your favorite things about her. When you became friends or a favorite story.
