New Moms: Are you/were you paranoid about going anywhere with your newborn bc of he/she crying?

I have avoided going anywhere really because I don't want the baby crying everywhere. I don't want to be glared at and more importantly, I feel bad if she's crying.

i was at first then i would see other babies cry and realized that it's just life and no matter what you do they are going to cry if they want.. everyone else usually look and said " aww poor baby isn't happy is he?" nothing bad though.. thank god i might have been rude back

I remember that feeling when my daughter was little i always felt if she cryed when we were out then everyone around me would think i was a bad mother. i avoid taking her ot unless i was sure she would remain asleep the whole time.

she is now 2 and i ended up getting a part time job in a baby store when she was six months old, after i was diagnosed with post natal deppression. Now days i look back on those days and relises that there is nothing wrong with a little baby crying when your out, anyone who has had a child has been there!

I did wth my 1st....but now I know that most people understand....they will smile or talk to the baby to help me out....there will alwys be miserable sods who look at you...I smile at them really BIG and say "Oh I LOVE the sound of a newborn baby!" Lol.

No! i am fine with my son crying in public hes a baby! but my good was with her baby shes started to get over it! i would not worry just try and comfort baby =)

I was nervous about bringing my 4 month old to my grandma's funeral today, but she did very very good. We just made sure to feed and change her before we went, had a bottle close by just incase, and brought some quiet toys to keep her busy.

lol.... yessss!!!! omg my daughter is so cute but shes bad! shes only 6.5 weeks and cries all day long! i honestly dont know what to do with her anymore. but to answer ur question, i always get scared about that! i actually just took her to my friends sons bday party yesterday and she was crying so i had to leave early!

Hells Yes! I hear exactly what you're saying girl! But I just sucked it up and went wherever I want because it wasn't my fault my kid was crying.
