I'm making a mix CD of lullabies to play for my daughter. I'm looking for songs like "Belle Notte", "La La Lu", "Beauty and The Beast", Y'know, soft, lovely, classic, Disney songs. Any suggestions?

Ooo ooo ooo!!! "Baby Mine" from Dumbo. It is the last song I sing to my son every night and it always puts him to sleep. I LOVE it!

Pinocchio - When You Wish Upon a Star

Peter Pan - The Second Star to the Right

Tarzan - You'll Be In My Heart

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - Hushabye Mountain

Aladdin - A Whole New World

Lion King - Circle of Life

Lion King II - We Are One

Cinderella - So This is Love, A Dream is a Wish

Snow White - Someday My Prince Will Come

The Rescuers - Someone's Waiting For You

Pete's Dragon - Candle on the Water

Sleeping Beauty - Sleeping Beauty Waltz (I Know You)

The Little Mermaid - Part of Your World

Fox and the Hound - Best of Friends

Bambi - Love is a Song that Never Ends, Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers, I Bring You A Song

Robin Hood - That One Love song

Oliver and Company - You and Me

Don't forget the non-Disney though:

Land Before Time - Dreams are for Dreaming

Thumbelina - Impossible Dreams

Most of Don Bluth's films had great music and he used to work for Disney before Walt died. He left after about Fox and the Hound (which he worked on.)

There was a cassette tape at one time, of Disney songs, lullabies. It was so sweet. I don't know if you can find it now, though...

we really enjoyed it, they are nice soft instrumentals, but you can sing along if you know the words to the songs that have lyrics

Have to agree with Tiny, definitely "Baby Mine" from Dumbo. It's a true classic and so sweet and tender.

I agree with LadyBastet, and I would like to add Circle of Life, I always loved that song when I was a kid...
