warm soapy water or the dishwasher if cloth the washer and dryer. Do not use bleach or lysol, remember it will be going in your baby's mouth from time to time and then it would get in their system. Just warm soapy water. To sanitize you can put one tablespoon bleach to one quart of water or 1/4 cup to one gallon and rise after with water.and towel dry.

I find three ways to be effective.
Simple and fast: Lysol spray. It kills 99.9 of the major germs on kids toys. If they are sick, I would use something stornger. But for simple playdates or simple cleaning up it works great. It also works on fabrics and porous surfaces and very well on plastics.
For more extensive try the dishwasher or washing machine depending on the toy. The one snow adays have batteries so those are a no go, use Lysol. Use HOT water and wash that will kill most germs.
If you really want to do it, use a FRESH 10% bleach solution for 10 minutes. Soak for 10 minutes. Rinse with fresh water and you are sanitized.

There are many ways you can effectively clean and infant toys. Firstly you can wash in a sink of warm water and then let them soak in bleach water to kill any extra germs. Then rinse them in warm water and let them air dry. Another method is to wash the toys then boil them in hot water then let them air dry. A quick method is to sterilize them in a sterilizer. All of the above ways are effective all depends work better for you

A bit of soapy water and a rag. Seriously, while it might make sense to make his environment the cleanest possible, including his toys, you're only keeping your child from strengthening his immune system by attempting to disenfect things. Take this from someone who has traveled all over south america with his two sons and never had a mishap.

If your child is at home,
toys like teethers can be cleaned with water and baby ( or dish) soap.
i used baby wipes to clean the rest. They are sanitary and safe around a baby
Teddys and stuff can be machine washed with baby clothes just put it inside a sock or pillow cover and tie it before

i used to work in a day care center, and we used bleach. let them soak for about 20-30 minutes, and let them dry. i recomend rinsing them because i notice they get a cloudy film on them after a long time. and the rinse gets rid of some of the smell as well. but either way make sure its dry. And happy cleaning.

unless they're soft rubber you can put them in boiling water for a minute or two. Just dont put them n the water while the pot is still on the stove.
